Art On Coffee Cup

If you’re willing to overlook the minor fact that it has an almost complete inability to disintegrate, there could be one redeeming factor that the sinful Styrofoam cup has to offer the world. California-based Malaysian artist Cheeming Boey has found it to provide the perfect surface to ink on.
By using fine dots and sturdy lines, he can create anything from intimate portraits, intricate scenes and whimsical characters. Sold in his Etsy store, the cup artworks can take up to three months to produce as he never drafts any of his pieces. Every final work he releases is a first pass attempt.
